Radiation Screen Lights

Den Haag (NL)

Superuse Studios

When making the Screen Saver The Hague we discovered that a lot of the older monitors have aluminium ‘radiation’ screens inside. These beautiful lightweight structures can be transformed into lamp covers. As an expirement we mounted them to the ceiling lights of the museum, just to see what happens. The result was amazing, so amazing in fact that the museum asked us to make more. If you go there now they are still hanging on the ceiling as the only remnant of the “Yes Naturally” exhibition of 2013.
