ORIGIN:
production waste:
Cardboard tubes are being discarded by all companies distributing materials from a roll like: tapestry, plastic films, paper
MATERIAL:
They have a few standard lengths like:1,5m /3,2 m /4m and a diameter of 80/150/240 mm, usually they are made of 6 to 10mm thick compressed cardboard and are surpisingly strong.
This forms an interesting waste stream for building. As is proved in Shigeru Ban’s projects.
