This ‘barrel-cue’ was produced during the workshop ‘Festitrash’ framed under the EASA (European Architecture Students Assembly) 2009 held in Darfo (Italy). The core of the workshop was the production of different objects using unused elements in order to reactivate them through a second use.
The basic materials used in the process of crafting the object where reused (oil barrel, desk structure, metal grid, metal pipe…). And the assemblings where made with hinges, screws and nuts; the help of a welding machine and some imagination.
Worth is to add that no coal was used in any of the gilling sessions, but the wooden chips collected from the different workshops that were working with wood during the EASA009.
